This tool is great for small components but: Try doing that with a large topo file!
ReplyDeleteThe best/cheapest tool out there for this is made by SYCODE called "Point Cloud" which drapes a surface directly onto your points. If your buying premium just for this scan to 3d functionality, check out sycode first. From "point cloud" you can export as a sat and pull it into solidworks. Its vey fast and acurate and well worth having as an addition to your toolbox.
